Now that spring is here and lawns are greening up, the Fiske Brothers Yardworks trucks are becoming a common sight in many South Metro Denver neighborhoods. Not only do the trucks haul equipment and supplies, but they also reflect the venture’s story and lasting commitment to exceptional lawn care. While the original Fiske Brothers Lawn Service truck was a school bus yellow 1964 Dodge, the fleet has embraced a much simpler design, though they are equally memorable.

In the early days of Fiske Brothers Yardworks, the business operated out of a single 1998 Dodge. While this two-door truck was nothing fancy and lacked a trailer, mowers and equipment went into the back and provided a basic but effective way to get out into the community. It quickly became evident that the lawn crews needed to branch into different neighborhoods, so the company took on another 2001 Dodge.
“We’ve really tried to stay uniform and create a stable image for our customers of a white Dodge truck,” Tim Fiske said.
As the business continued to expand, Fiske Brothers Yardworks purchased a 2002 Dodge, followed by a 2007 and 2008 Dodge, the first full-sized, four-door trucks in the lineup. Though each truck provides essential transportation and carries the tools for a beautiful yard, they also represent a relationship with customers and communicate what to expect from each lawn service.

“They’re all Dodges, all about the same size, they’re all white. We have very uniform logos that are placed on the doors, on the tailgates, and on the back of the trailers. We keep them clean, if a window’s broken we get it fixed, if it has a bad dent we get it fixed,” Tim said. “They’re a symbol of us taking care of business and always being consistent.”
